The Thunderbolt Ski Race & Thunderfest!

A hundred backcountry skiers will hike to the summit of Mt. Greylock and come blazing down the Thunderbolt Ski Trail. Race relies on natural snow. Free shuttle from downtown 9-2:30. A 40 minute hike to reach the finish line of the race.
Thunderfest, a free winter festival in downtown Adams after the race,features 2 bands, hot food, chili and chowder cook-off, local beers and hot beverages, family fun, campfire. Dress warmly. Open to all, regardless of attendance at the race.
