Saturday, Feb 11 10:00a to 5:00p
Age Suitability: None Specified
Tags: There are no tags.

On the Civil War home front and on the battlefields, Albany residents played key roles in providing for the medical care of the sick and wounded. The exhibition examines the medical concerns and necessities of the war through the objects, photographs, broadsides, and letters. Also featured are materials related to the 1864 Albany Relief Bazaar, an organization created and sanctioned by the U.S. War Department to raise funds for medical supplies and to improve camp conditions for Union troops.
