Robert Nickas is a prolific curator, a critic celebrated for bold, dissenting views, and a central figure of the NYC art world for more than 25 years. He has organized more than 80 major shows, including the 1993 Venice Biennale and 2003 Lyon Biennale. His new book is Catalog of the Exhibition (2011), a retrospective of his exhibitions from 1985 to 2011.
