What does it take to be fully alive and engaged in a vibrant conversation with life? We will explore this question with the dramatic tools of movement, language, speech, and improvisation. By learning to tap deeply into our individual creative impulse, we will connect with our inner source of energy, passion, and flexibility and engage more fully with the creative forces that shape our lives. Through activities that re-awaken the stream of our own life forces, we are able to identify and overcome blocks in our development and open up to something larger than ourselves. We will do this by working with the physical space we inhabit, playing with our language and speech, and by combining movement and speech in dramatic improvisational exercises. As we interact with one another through these activities, we will gain an empowering sense of what a group of people can create together. This course will be tailored to the specific interests of its participants.
