Whelen Engineering

A fun family event for all the Chester Elementary School PTO is holding a “Touch-A-Truck” at Whelen Engineering 51 Winthrop Road Chester on Sunday September 13, 2009 from 10 am to 2 pm. An educational experience where children can climb various vehicles, sit in the driver's seat and discover the world of trucks. They will be able to reach the sky in a cherry picker, see, touch and interact with big trucks and learn their functions. This unique event will feature large trucks and heavy equipment from law enforcement, fire departments, commercial companies, industrial companies and rental companies. Refreshments will be available for sale. Vehicle demonstrations will be conducted and free Amber Alert registration sponsored by Clinton Rotary Club and Whelen Engineering. There will be a raffle for a real fire truck or police car ride! This event is held rain or shine. There’s a lot of horn beeping going on!
