Author Alan Via has led hikes and been active in the Adirondack Mountain Club, 3500 Club and Taconic Hiking club for 35 years and has completed both the Adirondack and Catskill 100 peaks. He will discuss his book which describes the origin of the Catskill 100 highest list, where they are, how they are unique and he will introduce enthusiasts to a range of peaks largely unknown to the public. Digital slides of mountain scenery will be shown. Registration is required.
