Sunset Boulevard

Norma Desmond was a silent movie star who was thrown out of the movie business when talkies arrived. When she meets a struggling screenwriter named Joe Gillis, it seems her life may be turned around. She invites Joe to live at the mansion if he'll edit her script for director Cecil B. DeMille. Joe then meets sweet, pretty Betty Schaefer, who works with him on his own script and falls for Joe and complicates matters.
