Hallockville Pond Mill Trail Walk

Join historian Mike Whalen for a casual natural and cultural history tour of the former mill village of Hallockville in Hawley. Explore the extensive ruins of several 19th-century mill sites, and rediscover the diverse industries that once flourished along King Brook. This easy one-mile excursion will loop around picturesque Hallockville Pond and feature old pine forest, mountain laurel, and massive glacial erratics. Directions will be given upon registration.
