North East Dog Scout Jamboree

This five day event is geared to having fun with our dogs and will be focusing on training for the DSA badge and other badges as well.
The property (50 acres) is privately owned with easy access from RT 20. Although there is not a pond, there are several ponds very close to the property that we can use for canoeing, kayaking, water sports and more. 
The curent plan (subject to change, we will gear this event to the attendees needs) is formal training periods for the DSA badge, agility, hiking, back packing, canoeing and much more.
Camp fires and marsh mellows (of course) and nightly music outside.
Cold water, coffee, snacks, hamburgs, hot dogs, chicken and other basic picnic type foods will be served. I recommend you bring other items that you want to eat and a side dish that can be stored on a cooler would be aprrieciated.
If you prefer there are a couple of nice hilltown  restaurant s near by.
Sleeping arangments. We will have two large walk in tents (each the size of a four car garage) available for use, bring your own tent, RV's might be possible (current driveway is steep and only dirt). You are welcome to stay in hotels if you wish.
As of this writing we are still in the planning stages and the dates my change. We will probably follow many of the same guidelines as the DSA Camps.
