Jonathan Trumbull Jr. was military secretary to General George Washington during the Revolutionary War. He later served in the 1st Federal Congress and as governor of Connecticut from 1797-1809. His house has eight corner fireplaces and elaborately carved woodwork in the two parlors. It is owned by the Town of Lebanon and admission is free.
