The Khalsa Learning Center

The Khalsa Learning Center is a unique approach to education in the Pioneer Vally honoring the ways and wisdom of the earth! Amar Fuller, owner/director of Khalsa Childcare, a very successful business serving families in the Valley for the past 24 years, is the founder and Director of the KHALSA LEARNING CENTER for children ages six to thirteen years old. Amar’s strong vision for the present and the future of our Children, the Earth, and the spirit in each one of us is the heart of KLC. This learning center is designed to meet the varied needs of a home schooling family,offering a two, three, or five day tuition plan. A KLC home school coordinator will assist parents in navigatingthe home school application process. KLC is housed at 194 Long Plain Rd., Leverett, MA. We will be hosting an Open House on May 21st from 11:00 – 2:00 for families to come and learn more about our program. Amar envisions the center to be a place where children, adults and Elders come together to create a safe haven where people can learn, pray, heal, and grow together with support and love. She states, “I received this vision during a ceremonial fast led by an Anishinabe Elder, Grandmother Lillian Pitawanakwat from the First Nations in Birch Island Ontario. This vision is the seed for the KLC, this is why I decided to create a community honoring children and teaching them how to live in a conscious way.”
