The Passing of Buddha - a story of a life

In 483 BCE, the historical Buddha passed on to Parinirvana at the age of 80. Born in Lumbini’s Garden, enlightened in Gaya, his legacy became his teachings of understanding, love and compassion. Learn more about his last teachings and his impact on the spiritual lives of modern Americans from sangha members. This is a special Buddhist holiday called Nirvana Day or Nehan-ye in Japanese. Sacred chants and a multimedia presentation will be offered. All are welcomed. Lead by Senpai
