The Slater Memorial Museum

* Collections to visit include the Slater's renowned plaster cast collection which reproduces Egyptian, Near Eastern, Greek, Roman and Italian Renaissance sculpture found today in England, France, Germany, Italy, and elsewhere;
* American paintings and sculpture, furniture and furnishings dating from the 18th through the 20th centuries, and European art and decorative arts from the 15th through 20th centuries;
* African and Oceanic sculpture and artifacts, primarily 19th and early 20th century, from the Paul Zimmerman Collection;
* Japanese, Chinese and Korean art and artifacts, 17th through the 19th centuries, from the Emily Noyes Vanderpoel Collection of Asian Art;
* Pre-Columbian and Native North, Central and South American art and artifacts dating from before Columbus' arrival in the New World through the 20th century;
* Maritime artifacts relevant to the early history of Norwich and this region, and a large firearms collection with guns primarily made in and around Norwich in the 19th century.
