Altamura Center for Arts & Cultures

Founded in 2000 by Carmela and Leonard Altamura, this performing arts center works to promote understanding among world peoples through the study of music. The center offers regular public performances, runs a summer music festival, and offers “Encounters with the Masters,” an immersion in operatic literature, performance, and Italian culture with prestigious faculty from such venerable Italian institutions such as La Scala.
