Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Tax Program

The VITA program is a free service for taxpayers whose incomes are $49,000 or lower offered throughout the tax season. To participate, you need to pick-up a numbered ticket on the day you plan on getting assistance. Tickets are limited to 25 a day. Bring your SS cards and appropriate official documentation picture IDs, receipts, statements, etc. The Saratoga County Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program is sponsored by the IRS and the NYS Department of Tax and Finance.
