Pooh's Corner Child Care Center

Pooh's Corner, Inc. is an on-site child care center located in Building # 10 of the Capital District Developmental Disabilities Services Office (O.D. Heck Campus). The center was established primarily to care for the children of Capital District DDSO employees, and secondly for children of other New York State employees. Further vacancies are then available to the surrounding community.

Pooh's Corner was incorporated in 1986 as a not-for-profit business. Policies are developed by a Board of Directors which convenes monthly. The Board is comprised of Capital District DDSO/NYS employees, center parents, and other interested parties.

Two grass, fenced-in play areas and a gymnasium, combined with spacious indoor activity areas, enable us to offer an assortment of creative opportunities to foster development.
