Seymour Founders Day

2nd Annual Seymour Founder’s Day celebration to be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011, from 10 am to 5 pm, rain date - Sunday June 12, 2011. It is a day to celebrate our communities past and present. This day will be filled with history, entertainment and fun! Our entire downtown main street area will be closed to traffic and filled with vendors, food booths, a car show, children’s activities and live entertainment while area shops and restaurants will be open for business. Last year with over 15,000 visitors, this year will be bigger and better.

The streets will be filled with a diverse group of vendors including, antiques, crafts, jewelry, collectables, home furnishings and business services. In addition, local community groups and charities will also be represented at the event. Visit our Beer Garden and Food Court to enjoy a variety of food and drink and enjoy live music from the band Phoenix.
Event goers are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to benefit the Food Bank. All children who bring a food item for donation will receive 1 free ticket for a bouncie.
