A tribute concert featuring The Tichy Boys with Special Guest Johnny Rabb

Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and J.P. “The Big Bopper” Richardson died in a small plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa, on the way to a stop on the musicians’ Winter Dance Party tour. The event was further immortalized in Don McLean’s 1972 hit “American Pie,” where the term “The Day the Music Died” comes from.
