Hi, after almost four years in business, The Epicurean at Sterup Square is becoming known as the “An oasis in the middle of cornfields”. Come and be treated to a truly unique culinary experience under the guidance of Award-winning Chef Dominique Brialy. Claire & Sandy Pogue Upon entering the Epicurean, one feels as if they have stepped into a small Provençal Café in France. The theme of the Café embraces a rustic European style with long wooden communal tables at the center of the country setting. It highlights the tradition of simple home-made meals during breakfast and lunch. At night, in a setting that is reminiscent of eating in a French home, Chef Dominique Brialy transports his guests to France through a culinary feast that matches food and wine. Chef Brialy is best know for his Provençal Cuisine – an abundance of fish, seafood and flavors of Provence -, as well as his love of the products of the terroir – duck, rabbit, venison, farmstead cheeses, etc. The dinner menu changes every week using the freshest seasonal ingredients found in NY State, many from local farms.
