Karner blue butterflies are a federally endangered butterfly species that resides in the Pine Barrens of Concord, NH. For over 10 years, the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department has been working to restore the habitat for Karner blue butterflies as well as captive rearing and releasing this small blue butterfly.
