Sankofa

"Sankofa” comes from the Akan people in Ghana and loosely translates to “reaching back in order to move forward.” Sankofa choreographs original material that incorporates popular song, drums, hip-hop, break dance, spoken word, poetry, and sheer creative ingenuity.
