The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute is a dynamic institution welcoming visitors year-round to experience outstanding European and American art in a beautiful, rural setting. The museum is best known for its extraordinary collection of Impressionist paintings, including those by Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet, Claude Monet and Pierre-Auguste Renioir. The Clark hosts public lectures,outdoor family festivals, concerts and films and much more. In the permanent collection, "The Warrior" (Fantasy Portrait), by Jean-Honore Fragonard.
